I Don't Remember
liner notes

Photography Information

The girl is from Delia*s. Her background is one of those extreme-close-up-blur shots I take all the time. The picture of me is one that someone, I don't remember who, took in high school, at the cafeteria, of me about to eat a french fry. The background image was something I took at the woods at college, with my now-stolen bike in the background. And everything's all jazzed up.

As you may recall, this album was originally to be a multi-vocalist album. It ended up being just me and Debi (I met Debi May 1997, a little after this album was done with), so the ones recorded ended up on a Rusty Spell outtake album.

Special thanks to Rheostatics for not sueing me yet.

Did you know that the "official" version of this album was for a long time a me-only album, the demo I did of it. There's a weird little breakdown section in "I Like You" which samples a David Bowie song.
