100,000 Lightning Bugs Review by Peter Lynn

Rusty Spell makes me mad.  For starters, he is way more talented than I could ever hope to be.  But the other thing is that in a fair a just world, these songs would be all over the place.  His gift for melody is unmatched.  His lyrics are the perfect mix of silly and heartbreaking.  And his arrangements are on the level of greats like Brian Wilson and Phil Spector.  The dude knows where sounds are supposed to go.  If you like melodic pop music, then you will not go wrong with this set of songs.

These tunes were all hand-picked, remixed and reset just for this set by the artist himself.  It's a good thing, too.  This is the cream of the crop, kids.  For several years, Rusty has worked in his studio crafting
these gems and releasing several albums.  Well, in this new and digital world, he's gussied them all up and presented the very best of the best for a cohesive collection of songs that are sure to dazzle as they whiz through your ears and imaginations.

I'm proud to know each of these songs and you should know them too.  That way, Rusty Spell can make you mad as well.
